Del's Safe
In 2018, a week before Thanksgiving, Delbert Droegemeier was called home from work one afternoon to find his entire house had burned to the ground. The family had a houseful of family, including grandkids and pets for the upcoming holiday. One of the family pets accidentally knocked a lamp over into a hamper of clothes, that ultimately ended in a tragic fire.
What survived
Del, a full-time employee of Cannon Security Products, loaded the safe unto a truck and took it back to the warehouse to inspect the valuables left inside the safe. Once the safe was drilled into, and the door opened, Del found that all the items in his safe had survived the fire, despite losing everything else that was not in the safe.
