What is the proper way to accept a safe delivery?

At Cannon Security Products, we focus on delivering your order safely, efficiently, and with clear expectations—especially for large and heavy items like safes.

Where We Ship

We currently ship to addresses within the United States (Lower 48 States).

Some products may have shipping restrictions based on size, weight, or local regulations.

If you are outside the U.S. and interested in placing an order, please contact us before purchasing.

Order Processing

• Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days
• Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the next business day
• You will receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped

Shipping Methods

We use a combination of parcel carriers (UPS, FedEx) and freight carriers depending on the size and weight of your order.

• Small & Medium Items
• Shipped via standard ground services
• Typical delivery: 2–5 business days
• Large & Heavy Items (Safes)
• Shipped via freight carriers
• Delivery typically occurs within 5–10 business days
• Delivery is curbside unless otherwise specified

Freight Delivery (Important)

For large safes and oversized items:

• Delivery is made to the end of your driveway or curb
• The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment
• Someone must be present to receive and sign for the shipment

Moving Your Product Inside

Customers are responsible for:

• Ensuring access for delivery (clear driveway, no obstructions)
• Additional services (liftgate, inside delivery, installation) may be available upon request for an added fee.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email. Freight shipments may include a tracking link and/or direct contact from the carrier.

Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery dates are provided at checkout and may vary based on:

Damaged or Missing Shipments

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If your order arrives damaged:

• Take photos of the packaging and product
• Contact us within 48 hours

Failure to report damage within this timeframe may limit our ability to assist.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate at checkout.

We are not responsible for:

• Delays caused by incorrect addresses
• Additional shipping charges due to address corrections

Returns Overview

We want you to feel confident in your purchase. Due to the size, weight, and shipping requirements of safes, all returns must follow the guidelines below.

Eligibility for Returns

• Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery

Item must be:

• Unused
• In original condition
• In original packaging

Custom orders, special-order items, and installed safes are non-returnable

Return Authorization Required

• All returns require prior approval

Return Shipping & Fees

• Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
• A restocking fee (up to 15–25%) may apply

Heavy freight items (gun safes) may require:

• Liftgate or pallet return service

Damaged or Defective Items

• Inspect your order upon delivery
• If your item arrives damaged:
• Note damage on the delivery receipt

• Replace the item, or
• Provide parts/service support, depending on the issue

Refused Deliveries

If a shipment is refused:

• Return shipping fees will be deducted
• A restocking fee may apply

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. To change products:

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:
